Due to the retirement of our long-term beloved pastor, Monte Ne Baptist Church of Rogers, AR, is prayerfully seeking a full-time Senior Pastor. Monte Ne Baptist is affiliated locally with the Northwest Arkansas Baptist Association (SBC).
We want to consider a manwith the following attributes:
- Man of God called to preach and pastor as per 1 Timothy 3:1-7 and Titus 1:5-9
- Believes in the Trinity (God the Father, Son and Holy Spirit)
- Teach baptism by total immersion
- Preaches the Word of God as stated in the Bible
- Studies the Bible to build his own sermons and lessons as God directs
- Will shepherd, feed, and tend the church flock per God’s word in Acts 20:28-30

Position Summary:
Decatur Sale Barn Church (DSBC) is seeking a passionate and dedicated Bi-Vocational Youth
Pastor to lead and disciple students in grades 6–12. This role is ideal for an individual called to
Student Ministry who is also engaged in a secular vocation or gaining a higher level of
education. The Youth Pastor will work closely with the Associate Pastor and existing ministry
leaders to cultivate a Christ-centered environment for spiritual growth, fellowship, and outreach.
Key Responsibilities:
Spiritual Leadership: Lead weekly youth gatherings on Sunday mornings and
Wednesday evenings, focusing on biblical teaching, worship, and prayer.
Discipleship: Develop and implement a comprehensive discipleship program that
encourages students to grow in their faith and apply biblical principles to daily life.
Event Planning: Organize and oversee youth events such as Church Camp, DNOW, and
community outreach initiatives.
Volunteer Coordination: Recruit, train, and support adult volunteers to assist in youth
ministry activities.
Community Involvement: Encourage youth participation in the broader life of the
church, including Sunday worship services and intergenerational events.
Administrative Duties: Manage youth ministry logistics, including scheduling,
budgeting, and reporting, in collaboration with church leadership.
Qualifications:
A personal relationship with Jesus Christ and a clear calling to youth ministry.
Agreement with and adherence to Southern Baptist theology and the church’s mission.
Experience in youth ministry, either as a volunteer or in a paid position.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to connect with students,
parents, and church leadership.
Organizational skills to manage multiple responsibilities effectively.
Flexibility to work evenings and weekends, accommodating the bi-vocational nature of
the role.
Schedule & Compensation:
Time Commitment: Approximately 10–15 hours per week, including Sunday and
Wednesday evening responsibilities, with flexibility for special events.
Compensation: Stipend-based, varies based on experience, skills, and qualifications.
Additional Support: The church supports continuing education, spiritual growth, and
ministry development as resources allow.
Additional Information:
The Associate Pastor has 12 years of experience working with the youth at DSBC. The new
Youth Pastor will work closely with the Associate Pastor and receive valuable training and
discipleship. The current ministry has committed adult volunteers in place who will report to the
Youth Pastor and assist with Youth Ministry.

*Strong leadership, preaching, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
*A heart for missions, discipleship, and equipping others for service.
Preferred Skills:
*Experience in church growth or revitalization.
*Technological proficiency (e.g., livestreaming, church communications, social media).
*Ability to mentor leaders and foster multigenerational engagement.
Compensation & Benefits:
*Competitive salary range: $57,000-$72,000, based on experience and education.
